We launched a fully Tezos-based stablecoin USD Tez (@USDtz) in 2020 and have had great traction showing value-add even long before the idea of chain-specific stablecoin became popular. We look forward to @ArthurB’s talk and incorporating his suggestions! #Tezos
But not Tezos. We will show you what you’re missing with @USDtz. When you see the numbers, you’ll want to come to #Tezos natively, and we will welcome you!

Minimal wallets hold your keys and sign. Maximal wallets bundle dapps, swaps, and curated UX.
Tezos Co-Founder @ArthurB breaks down the features of Web3 wallets, from minimal to maximal, and outlines some of the UX challenges that exist with current designs.
Tezos X-plained Ep. 15: Uranium meets DeFi
@BenElvidge, product lead at @uranium_io, joins @SaraMoric to explain how xU3O8 brings uranium on-chain and how holders can use it as collateral to borrow USDC on @okutrade, powered by @MorphoLabs and @etherlink, Tezos’ EVM compatibility layer.
🎥 @BenElvidge of @Trilitech speaks with Tezos co-founder @arthurb about the uranium price feed from @uranium_io.
Arthur explains how his background in foreign ETF market making helped him write the initial filter, before engineering teams made it production-ready, wired in the data sources, and published it on-chain.
“Gee Kevin, are you super excited about the upcoming Tezlink rollout?!” #tezos
Me: Nah, I’m staying chill about it. Just working hard on our dApps for Tezlink DeFi. Long way to go…

🎥 Tezos X-Plained: From uranium to every commodity
@uranium_io's price feed was built by aggregating and interpreting inputs from related assets across global markets.
The same approach can scale to other assets.
What commodity should be tokenized?
Suppliers of USDt on TezFin are earning 36.53%.
Why? How? Because it's early stage and the pool is small, so natural utilization drives APY up high, quickly. Most people don't even know that these opportunities exist.
The ones who do are very happy, indeed. #Tezos
Addendum for pedants 😛
Yes stage 1 means that a security council with a 75% vote can override the onchain code. However, stage 1 also requires that a quorum-blocking (>=26%) portion of the council sits outside the org that is managing the L1.
Hence, the org cannot unilaterally censor or steal via a security council vote, so they are not a custodian.
See also here for the math on when switching to stage 2 (even 100% security council vote cannot override functioning onchain code) makes sense: vitalik.eth.limo/general/202…
