Self confidence and self worth are not male or female. They don’t wear trousers or skirts.
But the way we package it in Nigeria, you’d think self worth only wears wigs and heels, does soft glam, speaks gently, and has a “sunglass” body shape. As if confidence comes with contour, lashes, and a waist trainer.
Meanwhile, men are out here too bruised by words, shattered by insults, quietly rebuilding their egos with silence and gym subscriptions.
Truth is, either gender can have their confidence destroyed physically or verbally. Pain does not check gender before it lands.
Self worth no get wig.
Confidence no get beard.
If it can be built, it can be broken man or woman.
Let’s stop acting like insecurity is a ladies-only subscription.
