Cheesy airport content is my favorite content
Chief Infrastructure Officer, Jack Christine, welcomed some of the first “sky walkers” on the new skybridges today at #CLTairport. Now, we all have the high ground. Along with the skybridges opening, the departures level roadway will no longer close nightly.

Those early morning flights leaving you with bags under your eyes? Don't worry, under eye patches, makeup, and sleeping masks (if you're a plane sleeper) are all allowed. Just remember, creams and liquids are limited to 3.4 oz or less in your quart size bag. #MondayMotivation?

The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible.

Forgot to mention as often as I’m at airports, last night was the 1st time I’ve ever seen a family take about 6 pieces of luggage, duct tape and Saran Wrap them into 2 separate bundles then try to check them in as 2 pieces of checked luggage. @SouthwestAir CSR wasn’t convinced.

This is an essential if you manage people:
This sounds like a trivial observation and it isn’t: No organization which makes its people pay for coffee wants to win.

Bring back the Lounge Seating while you’re at it Southwest.
It's happening: Southwest is getting rid of open seating and will start offering extra legroom seats in the biggest shift of the airline's 53 years of flying, making it look a lot more like its bigger airline rivals. $LUV cnbc.com/2024/07/25/southwes…

Things are looking much better for Delta so far this morning 🤞🏽 Delta has canceled less than 50 flights so far this morning (they had over 400 cancelations by this time yesterday, but the numbers had stabilized by midday).

Against my better judgment, I flew a daytrip to COU this past weekend for some birthday shenanigans after the big IT outage. Bar-hopping in a college town is a great way to remind yourself that you’re not as young as you might think.
