To a mad scientist this is another tool in his lab. Another paintbrush for your inventory. A new invention to help your many inventions. Your shit skull servant deck could be bridged now with magnet warriors. Your PENDULUM deck could bridge into BURNING ABYSS. Maybe others are different but to me DECK BUILDING is the absolute most fun part of yugioh, allows your creativity to flourish without being held within a box and an absolute foundational piece of what makes our game the best game in the world.
