30 days. A lot of screens. This was a design exploration. Some concepts were original, others were replications done to learn, study decisions, and sharpen my UI thinking. Pure practice. Pure fun. A lot of growth.

how silly of me to forget how far God has brought me simply because I want to go farther.

A reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear: “It doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”

There’s something called waiting season. In that season, things are blurry, uncertainty creeps in, things tend to fall apart, different rejections. What to do during your waiting season, brush your skills up, train your mind, build your physical appearance, get in tune with God. What you are doing is basically preparing for what you are waiting for so that when it comes, you are fully ready to receive it. Keep in mind, waiting season has no duration or deadline. You just gotta keep pushing and doing things that keeps you in track of your goals.

… how long you need to wait & what you do while waiting.
Take my word for it, if you stay consistent on a path that you are really good at and has clearly shown you some results, you will “always” win big in the end, what will likely throw you off is how long you need to wait.

Africa encoded geometry into cloth before design had a name. Pattern as language, illustration as memory, typography as identity. Diversity isn’t a weakness, it’s the beauty in imperfection This isn't fusion. This is origin. This is Owambe #DesignIsChanging
Working on something for my entry in @cardtonic design challenge and also a post appreciation of a visual artist I truly admire. Take a guess at who? 🌝

me core.
i actually feed on intelligence. i love it when people know a lot about a lot of things, such as music, films, religion, beliefs, and history. i love listening to people's opinions. i want to suck in all these smart things like a sponge.

One of the greatest benefits of AI for me personally, besides the obvious ones, is that it has increased my self-belief and capacity by immeasurable levels. I no longer think I can’t do something. I know I can do anything I want. You are only limited by your imagination. It’s a very cool feeling and I’m grateful to be living in a time like this. Best time to be an entrepreneur and a creative.

one of the hardest parts of being an adult is surviving the present, while preparing for the future. ignore the present and you might suffer now. ignore the future and you might suffer later.

the fastest way to know an amateur in any field is that they are scared to ask questions. to ask questions is to seek clarification. to get clarification is to hone in on specifications.
