Crofton allegedly drove to the synagogue, exited his vehicle, and shattered the doors’ glass with a metal implement. After giving the synagogue the middle finger, he allegedly drove to the JCC, and repeated the attack. The suspect supposedly sent messages to family members boasting of the alleged crimes, and that he would have relished the opportunity to kill intervening police officers. “I just hit two synagogues in 5 minutes,” Crofton allegedly said. Crofton faces up to three years in prison if convicted of damage to religious property.
