In an interview with Business Journals,
#STLCards President Bill DeWitt III said a lot of things that should make fans optimistic for 2024
After the club’s worst season since the ’90s, he instilled some confidence for next year by saying, “We’re trying to be aggressive in ensuring that it’s a one-time blip for us.”
Further, he revealed that he doesn’t believe the team is too far away from where they need to be, “We still think we have the pieces on the roster and if we can properly supplement those, that we're back to competitive right away next year. That's our game plan.”
He went on to say that they could sacrifice their operating margin in 2024, “Willingness, I would say, to look at a pretty difficult financial year in order to try to get this thing back on track.”
