Today, anti-2SLGBTQ groups are protesting across the country to advocate for policies that would harm queer, and more specifically trans children, youth, and adults. This isn’t about “parents rights”. This is about the safety of children.

Our hearts break for the families and students at @UWaterloo. We remain undeterred and committed to supporting #2SLGBTQ students on their professional journeys in workplaces free from hate and discrimination. To every queer child, student, & adult: you matter and you are loved!
We are deeply saddened by the recent incident at @UWaterloo Gender Studies class. Students deserve freedom to explore gender without fear. Rise in 2SLGBTQI hate crime demands action. We stand in stand in solidarity with the victims, their families, and our community.
