The year 2028 is approaching fast. It is time for unity, principled leadership, and a renewed commitment to democratic values. The future of the Maldives belongs to its people, and together we must work to build a stronger, fairer, and more prosperous nation.

PayPal has nothing to do with Maldivian gov. No new law was passed. No new regulation was introduced. No new policy was implemented. No new Cabinet decision was made. It’s a foreign company called Ooredoo that brought PayPal to Maldives. The arrangement is allowing them to profit from its monopoly over PayPal service.
