New state logged by e-skip, 88.7 WRVT Rutland, VT at 470 miles! Also logged was 103.1 WZKC Royalton, VT at 506 miles with RDS. Today was a crazy DX day. I’ll have a lot of recordings to review.

Yesterday's E-skip was incredibly strong at times. Here is 102.1 KDGE from Dallas-Fort Worth at 1,028 miles, completely overriding my local 102.1 WDOK, which is only 23 miles from me. You can hear the top of the hour IDs swapping back and forth. There were tons of strong signals from Texas all over the band.

A 21-watt LPFM by e-skip, 92.7 WMXR-LP Miami Florida received in Akron Ohio yesterday (June 3, 2026) with TOH ID and RDS. It mentions HD? I didn't think LPFMs were allowed to transmit in HD.

Here's a new one, 102.7 ZFDR Freeport Bahamas received here in Akron Ohio at 1,016 miles. The WTFDA database shows that it's 100 watts. 102.7 Miami got out of the way to give RDS text... "FEEL DA RIDDIM, Grand Bahama's Number 1 Party Station".

Here is another video from the aurora-enhanced disturbed E-layer propagation on Wednesday. This is channel 4 (66-72 MHz). The MUF was high enough for video but not quite for audio. This is Managua Nicaragua at about 2000 miles received in Ohio.

Wow, this is the first F2 propagation I’ve seen on TV. Currently I’m receiving the RCN TV network from Colombia πŸ‡¨πŸ‡΄ on channel 2 here in Ohio. That’s about 2100 miles.

ChatGPT indicates that this was auroral-enhanced disturbed E-layer propagation, not sporadic-E and not F2.

There’s something mysterious on channel 4 likely coming from South America. My location is Ohio, using a Winegard 8200 yagi on a tower.

I just returned from a long weekend trip to the lake cottage in Ontario. I did a bit of FM DX while there. The autologger photo shows what was captured in about a 12 hour period overnight Thursday to Friday. My brother captured the night sky photo from the cottage.

Here’s a beautiful spot to DX along Lake Erie just a bit west of Cleveland. I took the TEF6686 out here last night and enjoyed the sunset and the lake-enhanced tropo. Lots of the local Cleveland stations were being wiped out by signals from across the lake.

This is the shortest meteor scatter I've ever seen on FM. It's 95.1 WYLE Grove City, PA at 64 miles. It's confirmed. This is the same meteor burst that 94.5 WYYY Syracuse is in.

Lots of meteor scatter going on this afternoon with the peak of the Perseids meteor shower occurring tonight... you can hear a couple different stations here on 94.5, WYYY Syracuse (306 miles) and WPST Trenton (360 miles)
