Fun fact about me…I’m a lifelong @WTrinityRL fan and a former cheerleader. I’m the baby face in the glasses bottom left. Me and my dad used to travel the north watching them every weekend but this is the first time they’ve been to Wembley in my lifetime! Come on the Trin!
I’m Liverpool bound to do some filming with @BBCNWT today, discussing data literacy and why it’s so important that we teach it to all children in schools
1/2 Recently came across @ScampandDude through a friend who is going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. They sell superhero scarves and for every one you buy, they donate another to a woman with cancer or the mother of a child with cancer…
2/2 This act of kindness meant so much to my friend so had to get myself one. Bonus is that they are also absolutely fab! If you can spare the money, it’s such a thoughtful initiative to help out scampanddude.com/collections…

I’ve teamed up with the BBC @microbit_edu and the @ONS to be an ambassador for their playground survey - a UK-wide exploration of the place school children visit nearly every day, providing a practical understanding of the value of data and how data is used in today's world.
Here’s an interview I did with them where I talk about my journey into data, what I love about working with data, and how all children should learn some data literacy as we continue to become a data generation! bbc.co.uk/teach/microbit/art…
ALT A rectangle graphic advertising the Consultancy Panel & Networking event & introducing a panellist. The graphic is done in the style of bauhaus & the OxUSA & Department of Statistics logos are located in the bottom right of the graphic. The text on the graphic reads: "Trinity Term 2024. Consultancy Panel & Networking, Meet the Panellists, Prof. Jennifer Visser-Rogers”. Following the text there is a portrait photo of Prof. Jen in an orange suit with a white blouse and light weight white scarf against an orange fabric background that is a slightly lighter shade of orange than her suit.
I’m at @imperialcollege today for what promises to be a really interesting meeting discussing contemporary clinical trial designs. Thanks to the @ImperialCTU for bringing us all together and putting together such a stimulating day!
