Under the pretext of banning under-16s from social media to “protect the children,” Keir Starmer has snuck in some small print that should make Americans really glad that all the tea was dumped into the Boston harbour back in 1773.
Adults will still be “allowed” to use the platforms… once they’ve handed over facial recognition, digital ID, passport, or credit card details to prove they’re not a child.
So it was never really about the kids. It was about making sure every single person who wants to speak online has to first tell the government exactly who they are.
Step 1: Link your real identity to your speech
Step 2: police have a lovely searchable database of every spicy take, meme, or complaint you’ve ever posted
Step 3: bring in the consequences - arrests, travel ban, debunking, for out-of-bounds speech
The UK is in a free fall.

Where did I say it was a copy paste?
ZS Batman definitely isn’t a copy paste of the DCAU but Affleck has himself has a DCAU Batman charm and look about him. Has nothing to do with ZS.
The Batman movie has a DCAU Mask of the Phantasm vibe about it. Intentional or not it’s there. Feels like a mix of that and the Long Halloween. I also think it did a better job at what Nolan tried to do.
But we do need a more fantastical Batman movie now. Fighting all his crazy rogues and not just “realistic” versions of them.

The Batman stans you make me laugh how you can’t handle people not liking that movie. All you do is convince me you are either afraid of people having different opinions and/or you don’t love that movie as much as you claim to.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a DC Fans wet dream especially if you grew up on the DCAU.
The Batman imo is like somebody copied Nolan’s homework while they had Se7en on in the background.

Look I am not sticking up for the project but Cucu & Enzo wanted to leave regardless. They were always going to go so I don’t get the up in arms thing about them going like it changes anything we didn’t already know.

Chelsea owners lied to us about the project. They said it was about to take off, but now they are selling our best players.
Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernández are among the few top players Chelsea have left, and now we are left with players like Jorrel Hato, who is still not fully established.
This is embarrassing. Chelsea is officially becoming a selling club. I think it's time to start supporting clubs that genuinely care about their supporters, like Manchester City.

Just showed my eldest the first episodes of #MyAdventuresWithSuperman and #BatmanCapedCrusader, he absolutely loved both. He said how much he liked that they didn’t feel the same and that Superman was lighter whereas Batman was darker. Shows he’s paying attention 🤣

First episode of #MyAdventuresWithSuperman Season 3 was awesome. What a brilliant take on Bizarro. One thing I love about this show is that they are reinventing things not just redoing whats been done before. Can’t wait for the next episode.

How has it been 13 years since Man of Steel came out? I still remember the whole build up from start to finish. Highlight for me was when Henry was cast. He was absolutely the fan favourite on the forums back in the day. Here’s to 13 years of #ManOfSteel
