I’ve been fighting for years to be paid at the level I’m working at. I’m now on a Band 4 contract and paid more. That will end soon. My pay will drop but the duties I perform and the level I work at will remain the same.
We need genuine progression.

I've been at the ABC 15 years. For the first 5 or 6 of those I was stuck barely above my cadet wage. @IanVerrender came in from outside & was shocked at how poorly some of us were paid. You shouldn't have to rely on a great manager to get fair pay. #DontDiscountABC @withMEAA 1/2

Working for the #ABC is a privilege. But @abcnews is losing early & mid-career journalists who just can’t make the financial math work. They’re stuck on low pay grades and despite stellar performance, they can’t move up.

#BREAKING The government has settled its planned changes to the superannuation system.

Thanks for the well wishes - I am ok, nearly recovered & able to afford to seek advice from a GP and specialist pulse oximeter. Just worried others might be needing assistance and waiting to be contacted, given the message is pregnant women will receive support
