The suspect involved in the OIS was pronounced deceased on scene. No injuries to officers. Pinnacle Peak is closed from 23rd Ave west to I-17 for the next several hours as we investigate.

#update (Chandler home invasion) Family gave me permission to share. This is Chelsey. She was shot in the arm and her father was hit in the head with a gun. Her father says she has special needs and is trying to process what happened. Both are ok. @azfamily

BUCKEYE SHOOTING FOURTH VICTIM UPDATE: per family, 22yo Myah was one of the women shot. She is in the ICU on a ventilator, fighting an infection in her lungs. She was shot several times , losing her spleen she has injuries to her liver stomach and kidneys. @azfamily

Police say, Tequida had driven suspect Sanchez to the location on Elwood St. where Sanchez shot and killed Rylee Montgomery Thursday night. Tequida then drove Sanchez to a friend’s house to hide from police. He was booked on a charge of hindering prosecution. @azfamily

UPDATE #3 18-year-old Michael Isiah Sanchez is facing a list of felony charges including murder after police say he shot and killed Rylee Montgomery, his 16-year-old pregnant girlfriend. It happened at a home in Buckeye. Not clear when he will be in court.
