Food is an addiction.
I’ve been carnivore for close to 2 years now, with the occasional cheat. A small piece of bread over here, some potatoes with a stew there, but overall pretty steady, and at my weight goal.
This past Thanksgiving weekend had wonderful bread my wife made, awesome crème brûlée from my son, some short bread, and a piece of KitKat. BTW, these KitKat bars are nothing like they used to be. 🤢
Man, the cravings came back with a vengeance today. I had forgotten how addicted to foods we are or can be. By “we” I mean the general population. While I could easily go 24 hours without eating just a few days ago, today I was hungry every two hours or so, unable to focus all day.
Haven’t been like this in a couple of years. I now feel terrible, bloated (and didn’t even eat a lot, just few carbs and sugar).
Time for a cleanse and back on track.
