Finished fitting this lush @Wickes kitchen today in South Gosforth. Worktops are being fitted on Monday and the painters are in to finish the walls and ceilings. Customer is delighted.

When I was a boy, Newcastle on a Monday night was a quiet city encouraging silent contemplation. When Vespers were finished, all would sleep peacefully from 7pm until Matins at 4.30 am. Porch posts repaired in Gosforth with new Accoya turned sections. Acrowed the porch up about 6mm drilled a hole in the base of the old section to take the small pin on the top of the new. Glued up then slid it onto the base and lowered the porch onto it.

Here's a lovely picture sent from my customer of the cupboards and shelving I fitted a few weeks ago all decorated. I think they look fantastic.

Also replaced the ball on the top of the old newel post.

A little staircase repair/refurbishment finished last week. Bespoke mahogany newel posts, mahogany handrail and softwood spindles all turned to match. Treads repaired and decorative brackets replaced. @Guild_MasterC @IoCarpenters
