While I will never give up my optimism, the reality is undoubtedly depressing. Most Israelis would be willing to compromise to have real secure peace with the Palestinians.

Sharing a pre-print article of mine that was supposed to be part of a book for undergraduate students on how to understand contentious topics in higher ed through different viewpoints. No publisher wanted to touch the book. But I want to make my argument anyway: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion - while sounding nice - benefits no one except its well-off practitioner-advocates, while threatening the classically liberal purpose of the university to search for truth and betterment of the human condition. @HdxAcademy@UofT@OISEUofT

To be clear, there is nothing wrong with DEI or social justice being studied by academics and taught at the university. The problem is when it is made into mandatory policy. I believe that there is a place for the scholarly study of DEI, social justice and critical theories in Philosophy departments.
Happy to attend the private premiere of the film Speechless. I consulted on this documentary early on in the process. Unbelievably, both the BBC and CBC will be airing it. @HdxAcademy
It’s about the consequences of critical social Justice taking over the universities, and how radicalism on the left invites radicalism on the right, and how we all lose in the process. It’ll be on CBC Tuesday night. Tape it.
