British AI is having a moment 📈
Great catch up with @SteveBasher, founder at @SolveAI_Inc.
Exceptional talent, big ambition, and a shared vision for the UK AI future we are building!
Three weeks ago the only hints were our email addresses and the stickers on our laptops 💻
Pausing between demo calls to share a small snapshot of the news coverage that’s been rolling in …
Dialing in from SolveHQ for @SteveBasher's big moment with the @Nasdaq tower.
We’ve got snacks and champagne in the office but nothing beats the real thing 🗽
Would anyone like us to forward-deploy to New York..?
It has been an absolutely INSANE day for UK tech:
> Wayve raised $1.2bn at an $8.6bn valuation
> Allica Bank became a unicorn at a $1.2bn valuation
> Revolut is pushing for a $100bn valuation
> SolveAI raised a $45m Series A
> Dwelly raised a $93m round
> BeyondMath raised an $18.5m Series A
There are some days when it is impossible to cover everything that happens.
Today is one of those days.

OpenClaw is a perfect example of how little we've explored frameworks on-top of the model layer.
A relatively simple idea combined with solid execution can easily become market-leading right now, this is the time to build.
The gala last night was incredible, @MattEvantic knows how to throw a party.
Humbling to be in a room with so many incredible founders, operators & friends.
Forward deployed engineer is sadly becoming such an overloaded term. Most companies seem to be missing the point and just rebranding the solutions engineer role.
As the EMEA hiring manager for FDEs @ Palantir I learned just how difficult hiring for this role is.
If anyone needs any tips let me know!
Here's hoping @Apple's announcements today can somehow put them back in the competition for the personal AI device - there is still such a huge opportunity to rework the iPhone as an edge device for personal agentic workflows.
