I know Mike would never make this about himself, but his dedication to his wife as she battled glioblastoma represented the kind of love between two people that is just so rare. Sarah was his everything and vice versa. As he said many times, it was his honor to take care of her.
Sarah’s memorial service was befitting of a queen — because that’s what she was. She was a tremendous wife, mother, daughter, friend, neighbor and community member. She was the type of woman you strive to be.

Michael Smith shared a powerful remembrance of his wife, Sarah, who passed away after a brave battle with glioblastoma.

Today's the day I learned that former @UCLAMBB coach @SteveLavin64's dad was college teammates with Hall of Fame coach (according to me) & player (even the @hoophall agrees) K.C. Jones.
