It's official...I've watched hockey for most of my 60 years. Rod Brind'Amour is the best player I have seen that won the Stanley Cup as a coach.

This may be the greatest start to a Stanley Cup finals ever. Certainly the most entertaining @NHL

I have never, ever in any sport seen a team play exactly like their coach did during his entire career like these Hurricanes do. They are Brind'Amoure personified @NHL #stanleycupfinals

Man have I missed seeing this

The @NHL is such a better game today than when I was young. There was a time when a three-goal lead in the playoffs was game over. Now the trailing team just says hold my beer

Does Garcia ever shorten his swing with two strikes and a runner on? I bet Bader would #phillies

Because of this, along with Buffalo's improvement and Washington's quality youth movement means that despite showing improvement, the #lgrw streak of futility will likely continue
Win or lose this game 7, Montreal is going to be a problem for the rest of the @NHL Eastern Conference for a long time.

One of the greatest - and most underappreciated - @NHL careers came to a close. Anze Kopitar is a legend, respected by all who love hockey. He gave 20 years of greatness at both ends of the ice. Pure class.

I have absolutely no rooting interest in the Wild-Stars series but will the @NHL ever stop Jamie Benn from his head and neck shots?

You've got to think Mattingly is #phillies manger by the end of April, right?

Watching how former #LGRW players are doing with other teams tells me there is something seriously wrong with the #redwings system.

Don't worry #LGRW fans. I'm sure SY will sign some more mid-skilled veterans for leadership this off season, to allow prospects to get really ripe. #sadbuttrue

Will anyone admit that something is wrong with #LGRW system? Other teams get lifts from young players at end of season. Meanwhile Detroit is the 8th oldest team in a rebuild. And, maybe change playing style occasionally. Sorry Yzerman fans, he needs to get bulk of the blame.

Who didn't know that was coming #LGRW

Makar is the best offensive defensemen in the @NHL .. Slavin is the best defensive. Werenski is the best combined. He has to win the Norris

Acquiring Perron was a Ken Holland-like move. What was Yzerman thinking? #LGRW

Why is the smallest player in the league the only #LGRW that is willing to hit someone? Pathetic. I know he has a lot of defenders but someone created this mess of jerseys.

Ouch.

Necas and Suzuki were taken after Rasmussen. Robertson was the pick right after Gustav Lindstrom in that same draft. Pasta was taken after Larkin too. Zadina/Hughes So in the last 12 years they had chances. The lottery luck has been bad but 90 point capable players were there
