"I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you. I love you. With all my heart, I love you." I try to live by this creed. #Bernie2020

I wish more people in this country could realize the truth instead of fighting it.

So much Bull💩, so little truth. The IDF has been targeting civillains for decades @AndrewWilsonLM , and what they're doing in Gaza is genocide. The only question is why are you carrying their water for them?
Replying to @sahouraxo
War is terrible. While not a genocide this war has been a bloodbath. The Israelis say often, but not always, rightly that they try to reduce civilian casualties. That is cold comfort to the family who lost this fine man. This war should not have entered into so lightly.

Masks work. Mitigations of almost any kind work. Even if they are done badly like they were at the beginning of the pandemic. What doesn’t work is giving up and pretending everything is normal when it so obviously isn’t. Wear a mask

In Taiwan mask wearing has been identified as a major factor in slowing the current C0VID wave & masking on public transport has made a huge difference. NB 1.8.1 (Nimbus) is in NZ. Respirators protect people & this simple action protects us all. 😷 taiwannews.com.tw/news/61310…

Wear the Damn mask!
I can barely say this but my brother is going to hospice tmrw. He had "pre-existing" issues, but his family infected him 4x with cvd. They're in denial. I'm very close to my brothers and this is killing me. I can't handle it. Wear a mask.

So very true.
Chronic illness isn’t just one moment. It’s thousands of little ones that no one sees. It’s canceled plans. It’s missed milestones. It’s memories you won’t make. Its calls you don’t return. It’s goals you let go of. It the slow, quiet loss of the person you used to be.

Healthcare should be a basic human right. Medical debt shouldn’t exist. No one should have to choose between care & their finances, or fear bankruptcy for needing the hospital. A kind society takes care of its citizens, that’s how you make people healthy again!

It’s strange how all the Professional Minimizers—who absolutely insist new variants do not pose increased risks—NEVER mention the horrifying reinfections data, or all the studies that show SARS-CoV-2 persists almost everywhere & causes long-term damage to immune systems.

I have tried to reply to this post 10x, but this app absolutely FORBIDS it. I was going to post the June 2020 NYT article that compared Covid to HIV & suggested “a cocktail of antivirals for those with mild illness.” Sadly, this topic was permanently memory-holed after that.
In 2020 I published an opinion saying SARS COV 2 lymphopenia was due to T cell death and was a massive problem that we had to “akt fas(t)” to correct The physician owner of the LA Times now thinks the same, and he draws implications for cancer and pathogens I told you so!

Not to be defensive, but when someone suggests exercise for chronic illness like it’s a magical fix, please understand this. We’re not avoiding it because we’re lazy. We’re avoiding it because we’ve tried it already, and it made things much worse.

Man, there's nothing like getting stabbed in the back by your so-called friends. 🖕😖 I could use some help to escape this toxic environment. $350 for gas and a storage unit. Living in my truck here I come. ✌️😎 ko-fi.com/clintonalden

The Democratic Party is the lost cause. And these idiots are defending it like it was the South after it lost the war. The same delusions and lies ...
12 May 2025
The far left is a lost cause and the party needs to move on from them. We’re talking about people who haven’t supported our last THREE nominees. There is nothing that can be said, no conversation to be had, that will bring them to our side. We’ve wasted a decade on these people.

In 2020, we learned SARS-CoV-2 deletes CD8s, which confer immunity to intracellular pathogens, & that is why all of the Let It Rip countries are reporting RECORD *all of these* (including syphilis)…
Group A strep exists intracellularly TB is intracellular EBV is intracellular Syphilis is intracellular Mycoplasma Pneumoniae is intracellular (also) Notice a pattern?

So True.
One of the hardest parts of chronic illness is that you can do everything “right” & still have a setback You can rest, eat healthy, manage stress & take meds & have a horrible flare The loss of control is painful & a big part of why folks are afraid of people with disabilities

Says my Senator, the King of Speaks Loudly But Does Nothing
There are no kings in America. Trump and Bondi can't just decide to arrest sitting judges at will and threaten judges into submission. This is a dangerous escalation, an attack on the separation of powers, and we will fight this with everything we have.

Dear Dems: When was the last time Dems in Senate used the filibuster or other privileges as Senators to successfully stop a Trump policy or prevent one of his atrocious Nazi nominees from being appointed? I'll wait ...

People seem to have convinced themselves that they'll be able to depend on the rights and privileges of their citizenship without access to due process. Without due process, you have no rights or privileges.

We can afford a TRILLION DOLLAR Defense budget, though.
Whenever I say we need universal healthcare, conservatives love to say “we can’t afford it.” Meanwhile, we *can* afford giving billions to Israel and tax cuts for the ultra wealthy. Strange.
