HOFer Bill Dickey was born OTD in 1907. An 11 time All Star & 7 time World Series champion, heās one of the greatest catchers ever. Retiring in 1946 he had the most RBIs among catchers, 2nd highest batting avg (.313)ā¦his .382 OBP & .486 SLG led nearly all peers among backstops.
