As a HS HC coach, if a student transfers away from my school, I would sign off on the kid bc it does me no good to stop a kid from playing at another school if he felt like it was a better opportunity. It’s June and if a HC is offered a better paying job, they’re OUT!

Was defensive pass game coordinator at Texas last year and defensive coordinator at Arizona in 2024. Has coached more than 40 future NFL DBs and three Thorpe Award winners.

I am beyond excited and incredibly blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue both my academic and volleyball careers at Lubbock Christian University! First and foremost, I want to give all the glory to God. None of this would be possible without His guidance, grace, and constant presence in my life. I am so thankful for the doors He has opened and the blessings He continues to provide. I trust that He is leading me exactly where I am meant to be, and I am excited to continue walking in faith through this next chapter.
I also want to give a huge thank you to my parents and family for every sacrifice they have made to help me get to this point. From the long drives, late nights, early mornings, and endless support they have given so much for me to chase my dreams. To my friends and teammates, thank you for always cheering me on, pushing me to be better, and standing by my side through every step of this journey. To all of my coaches, thank you for believing in me, challenging me, and helping shape me into the player and person I am today.
Lastly, thank you Coach Neal and Coach Savage for giving me this opportunity and believing in me. I am truly grateful to everyone who has been a part of my journey. I can’t wait to be a part of the LCU family and see what God has planned next. Go Chaps! 👌🏼

I am hearing 3A softball playoffs may be getting a shake up from a UIL infraction on players playing too many tournaments.
Whether it is true or not we've got to put an end to innocent student athletes seasons coming to an end because of things they had no part of!

My two questions:
1. Why weren’t the Reds challenging some of those calls?
2. We were told the new system allowed real time communication with the plate umpire. How was someone not in his ear telling him how poor his zone was so he could adjust it?

Umpire Hunter Wendelstedt missed 22 calls in the Reds Twins game and 16 went against the Reds, including 4 blown strikeouts.
No umpire this season has missed on more than 4 strikeouts in an entire game.
The Reds overcame the bad calls and won a challenge in extra innings to end the game.
