A lot of questions on why party elections matter and what members do. I think the most important thing we can do is proudly represent and respect the will of an overwhelming majority of Democratic voters in DC. The establishment tried to ignore 73% of us lost! Free DC Slate 💪

I yearn for the day when we can access, review, and publish data like this regularly for public instead of living in a FOIA hellscape between agencies, council, and EOM. What would be even better is for leaders to share proactively instead of relying on annual oversight hearings.
We now have an answer to the question of "is NYC just doing good social media posts about service delivery, or is service delivery actually changing?"

It’s like the National Capital Planning Commission took a cue from DC’s very own Public Space Committee. When the rules don’t benefit the government entity seeking approval - just relax or change them! Easy fix!

DC’s Public Space Cmte has literally changed its own rules mid-process to benefit a DC agency applicant that hasn't met its own published standards. If your neighbor tried this, they'd be denied. DC gov gets a pass because it's helping itself. That should terrify every taxpayer.

Protest is a powerful expression of values. Yesterday I marched with Capital Stonewall Democrats in support of DC statehood, because limited rights weaken our ability to invest in housing, infrastructure, and the basics our communities rely on.
