The #2026OHLDraft for the Sarnia #Sting. Once again I am no scout, but really happy with what they came away with. Look forward to seeing them at rookie camp! #OHL

Yah, I think #Sting fans will like 2nd rounder Evan Bannister! I could only find 5-6 of his games, but he immediately gave me major Drake Rymsha vibes Not the biggest, or fastest, but an absolute menace who hits like a truck, has real skill & dominates the faceoff circle #OHL

Maybe Sarnia's most interesting pick of the day is '09 D, Charlie Mineman. 4th round USHL pick last year has played for the NTDP program & in the USHL. Noted as an offensive defenceman.

In round 6 Sarnia takes US goalie, Chase Pastor. Good size at 6'2". Was drafted in the 6th round by the Chicago Steel of the USHL. Described as a big & athletic goalie who played in some big games. #OHLDraft

Sarnia Sting take Wyatt Finch. He probably developed more than any defenseman on that Huron-Perth team this year. Tough to beat defensively has good size, he showed some offense but I think he projects more as a shutdown guy. Give him a year in Jr. B and he'll be ready for Sarnia

With their 5th round pick Sarnia takes Wyatt Finch! Right handed D from Huron Perth. 21 points in 30GP before getting 1G/1A in 6 games for the London Nationals. Described as a smooth skating, 2way D-Man.

Sarnia takes Brody Brown. He’s a big body who gets around well for his size, hard working two way guy. He was a little quiet in terms of goal scoring, was a better playmaker, he’s great on the defensive side. He’ll be a penalty killer sooner rather than later in the OHL.

Three reports from Mckeens, Hockey Prospect & Elite Prospects on Brown. Neutral Zone had him ranked 18th. OHL consensus had him 21st. Sounds like a real good value pick to start round 3. Really pleased with Sarnia's #OHLDraft so far.

Very cool to see the Credit River Capitals in the U16 AAA OMHA championship game. A on the rebranding effort to ditch the old Brampton 45’s. They also feature one of the top prospects in the #OHLDraft in forward Evan Bannister. The kid is an absolute wrecking ball. #2026OHLDraft
