Babe Ruth Ball (a thread). Told this story before, but have doubled followers since then! A fav piece from my collection is literally worth $0 in the hobby, but is priceless to me. About 35 yrs ago my grandmother said, "Hey JD, you like baseball, here's a Babe Ruth homerun ball."

Absolutely agree. Well done. I suppose one could quibble over 1939 vs 41 or 42 as break between PreWar / PostWar (Vintage). But I won’t.
I’ve also seen PreWar start at 1910 with a couple extra “eras” as below:
