Ok, Sidearm & Sorcery, Volume Three is available in ebook! And at a couple of retailers in paperback, too. The sharp-eyed Jay Barnson spotted it at Amazon before I even got the email saying it was ready!

Everybody in the book I'm reading is an idiot. The big bad is an idiot. His henchmen are idiots. The hero is an idiot. His love interest is an idiot. The rich guy that's getting fleeced is an idiot. I hope I get to the part with punching and explosions soon. Or I may not finish.

I'm figuring out what to do with the royalty-split anthologies I've published with @Draft2Digital. I know several authors now want out of D2D altogether, as they only joined to get the royalty split. I'll be sending out an email, but if you have any ideas, reach out.

I'm waiting to hear back from D2D, but from some things I've found, it looks like if you have an account and are a royalty-split author, but have not published any of your own books, you aren't subject to the fee. If that's the case, then there won't be a problem.

I think @Draft2Digital is shooting themselves in the foot with this account fee mess. I know a bunch of low-selling yet high quality authors who are planning on leaving. The slopsmiths will just pay the fee and increase the amount of slop to cover it.

I love stories about regular people who through grit, quick-thinking, training, and/or sacrifice defeat entities of overwhelming power. Misha is right, you should check out the Sidearm & Sorcery anthologies.
Sword & Sorcery has a philosophical problem . The essential conceit of the genre is the battle of the normal--the swordsman--against the unnatural--the sorcerer.

Oh, hey, I forgot to mention I finished Three Hearts and Three Lions. It was exactly my kind of book. Left me wanting more, and didn't overstay its welcome. Highly recommended.
I'm finally getting around to reading Three Hearts and Three Lions. So far, it's kind of great.
