Big solar scoop this morning. @SwiftSolarPV is about to mount the U.S.'s last, best attempt to be a massive player in the solar industry. It has acquired a bunch of tech assets, IP and key people from Meyer Burger, the onetime Swiss/German solar giant. The old stuff will be paired with Swift's perovskite solar tech in a bid to try and outflank China's solar industry with more efficient, cheaper cells.
