⚡️📊 New Poll Shows Likely Dem Voters in New Jersey Rejecting Aid to Israel and Its Lobby’s Influence on American Politics
🔹A poll commissioned by Mussab Ali, Democratic primary challenger to Rep. Robert Menendez in New Jersey’s eighth congressional district, and conducted by Center for Strategic Politics Strategies shows the majority of Democratic primary voters unsatisfied with U.S. foreign policy towards Israel, with 40% calling to cease the country’s military aid and an additional 35% calling either to reduce or condition it.
🔹The poll, conducted April 11-16 among 416 likely Democratic primary voters, also found 49% of respondents would be less likely to vote for an AIPAC endorsed candidate as compared with a mere 16% found more likely.
🔹The poll also surveyed respondents on its upcoming congressional race between incumbent Rep. Robert Menendez, son of former Sen. Bob Menendez who was convicted of and sentenced on bribery and foreign agent charges, and progressive challenger Mussab Ali. Before candidate biographies were provided, respondents favored Menendez to Ali at a 42% to 27% margin. But, after positive and negative biographies are reviewed, Ali jumps to a lead of 43% to 33% over Menendez.
🔹This poll adds to the trend of recent polls showing Democratic voters rejecting Israeli influence over American politics and foreign policy
