Tenants at a newly opened student accommodation in Glasgow say they’re living in a building site, where many smoke alarms are covered over, with some claiming they’ve been forced to “barricade” their room doors because of security concerns. Heart’s @jackfostr reports. #HeartNews
My tip to any politician asked if "woman" means adult human female is to say yes. And if you're asked if trans women are adult human females the answer is also yes.

There will be lots of focus - rightly - on the economic costs of Brexit. But ending UK participation in Erasmus - an initiative that has expanded opportunities and horizons for so many young people - is cultural vandalism by the UK government.
“The British government decided not to participate in the Erasmus exchange programme”
EU Chief Negotiator Michel Barnier adds “the level of ambition in terms of the mobility of citizens is not in line with our historical ties”

The decision of the UK Government to unilaterally withdraw from the Erasmus programme going forward - on the grounds that it is "too expensive" - is a disgrace and a direct attack on the educational opportunities of students. Utterly shameful. 🤬
