Unspeakably stoked to have a RAVE REVIEW in @AurealisMag - which is one of the most successful and respected sci fi journals in Australia.
Absolute pearler of a thing. Not sure what to do with all these positive emotions tbh.
It means a lot to me that this funny, spiky and heartfelt film can finally be seen by a wider audience. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and my ridiculous little stories over the years. Youse are heaps grouse, eh.
It’s ANGSTMAS TIME, BABY! OUT NOW!

Just quietly: December 3 is going to be a VERY GOOD date for those who like their Aussie indie comedies about lovelorn horror obsessives living in Sydney's Kings Cross. ANGST is back, baby! FASHIONABLY LATE twenty-five years after its initial release.
Here's me having a run at Crocodile Dundee: The Encore Cut in beautiful 4K from the good folks at @MadmanFilms
Let's see how the old girl has aged!

Here's me waxing lyrical about one of the greatest Aussie films of all time, Wake in Fright, and checking out the brand spanking new, fancy-pants 4K remaster from the good people at @UmbrellaEnt
If you miss this, yer mad, ya bastard!

Happy FOURTH BIRTHDAY to my ripsnorting, Aussie sci-fi epic @StrayaBook! This book keeps on keeping on, finding new readers every week. Thanks to everyone who has supported my writing and this book. Youse are all bloody grouse.
Honoured and delighted to hear that my short story "We Have Children Now" has been nominated for a @AustHorror Shadows Award! It appears in the terrific anthology Spawn 2: More Weird Horror Tales About Pregnancy, Birth and Babies from IFWG Publishing. Stoked!
Happy SECOND birthday to my SECOND novel, Emma After! If you're in the mood for some spooky shenanigans in rural Australia you could do a lot worse than picking up this supernatural romp.
Happy to sort you out with a personally signed copy if you're keen too.
VERY happy to finally get my hot little hands* on a copy of the reprint of KILLER CRABS by the late, great @guynsmith. This edition in particular is excellent because it features a beaut Foreword by me, AntKnee!
Just a quick reminder that #TheSubstance is a "horny, hideous, slime-slicked nightmare ride through phobia, loathing and fleshy indignities" and the most strikingly original horror film in years.
Out now in cinemas, Australia. Get on it.

Night of the Crabs by Guy N. Smith is back! New foreword by @BrianKeene. Ebook and paperback to be released in the coming days, along with books 2 and 3 in the Crabs series. Artwork by Neale Thomas, cover design by Andrew-Mark Thompson. Audiobook with @petegold_ to follow!
Anyone who has read @StrayaBook or talked to me for more than seventeen consecutive seconds knows how personally thrilling this is.
Can't wait for you all to read (or re-read) this pithy, pulpy classic SET IN AUSTRALIA.
Watch the seas, the crabs are coming...
Tremendously honoured to be writing the Foreword for the upcoming re-release of KILLER CRABS by the late, great @guynsmith
Check out the link of the upcoming Guy N. Smith Fan Convention (Sep 1) for more details.

Happy THIRD BIRTHDAY to my first novel @StrayaBook! A risky, cross-genre experiment in post-apocalyptic insanity that has (somewhat inexplicably) found an audience.
If you've read it and loved it, chuck up a rating on Goodreads, yeah? Cheers, ta!

A big, sloppy, sincere THANK YOU to all the legends who came to the ANGST (2000) screening at the Inner West Film Fest. It was a bloody hoot! The old girl has aged far better than I dared expect.
Happy Angst Day for those who observe!
And if you'd LIKE to observe, head down to Dendy Newtown at 2pm today (April 21). See ya there, legends.

I sold my first screenplay, Angst, when I was 19-years-old. It was a wild, scary, exciting and surreal ride.
Here's a little interview I did with @filmink about the experience.

24 (!) years ago, a film I wrote (Angst) was released in Australian cinemas. It managed to gain a small but loyal cult audience in the years since.
Now you can see it on the big screen in 35mm, April 21st, at the Inner West Film Fest!
