I do litter picks separate from @StreetWatchWM as not always time on patrol. We’re very close to a large transient community with HMOs, hostels, prostitutes, drugs & street drinking. You name it, it’s there. Last week’s find was a drug dealer’s bag with knives & stolen goods - all handed in to @WMPolice. Friends of Harborne Walkway do a great job keeping the main path clear but these links to the route are important too. Sorry for the pics of this week’s finds but seeing the drugs, drink & antisocial lifestyle spiralling out of control gets you down. It’s vital this is removed as we get muntjac, buzzards, badgers, foxes, dog walkers, runners, cyclists, and a kids forest school… a busy route nestled amongst an ancient wood, brook, allotments, and backing onto family homes. Ran out of council bags and broke my litter picker but worth the effort 👊🚮 💚 #GreenCities #PublicHealth #VolunteersWeek
