gpt-5.4-medium @cursor harness is a big improvement on the then-SOTA models for reliable intelligence at affordable cost imo

May has been resourceful 🌱 I traveled around Taiwan with the family and made quick trips to Ho Chi Minh City and Shanghai. Now we're back on the grind 😈

When costs are omitted I assume the models got more expensive, too

My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept): Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

CLIs are better for context management: • output less text than APIs and poorly built MCPs • single-purpose commands instead of "all in ones" • flags for customizing ouputs • composable with bash functions Does not matter much for single-turn but compounds in the end
Okay, serious question: what does offering a CLI allow your users to do that MCP or the good old REST API don’t already do? I really don’t get the hype.

If you're a dev tool and not making your brand kit easily accessible, you're making devrel harder for no reason

Much needed for open source in my opinion

Do people like this? We don't do this for codex because it exists to help you and it's important that you remain the owner and accountable for your work without AI taking credit. At the same time it does mean that you can't trace how popular codex is among repos.

One-sided for sure
First Stand’s been one sided, but I don’t understand the doom and panic around the west? Karmine Corp went to finals last year, G2 made top 8 at Worlds, and Flyquest put up respectable results for NA before that too. It’s one event, not enough to pull the alarm.

Ups and downs could also keep the league fresh and connect with tier 2 scene. Most teams have very little chance to be relegated in a 20 teams league, so sponsorship might still have faith.
The ONLY way for Western teams to become competitive internationally in LoL is to create an Asian-based league with 20ish of the top teams from all current regions. Regional leagues become feeders for this professional league. A focused regional hub is the biggest factor in esports history that creates competitive parity.
