BKC took that first step today, participating wholeheartedly in the BKC Public Transport Day, an MMRDA-led public initiative.
Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, wholeheartedly participated in this initiative and encouraged public transport day volunteers on the way.
Dr. Mukherjee has been driving the initiative and showed how one small step is all it takes for change. Following his directions, MMRDA employees also took to public transport today to get to work.

China has mastered the art of weaponising protests, narratives, and influence operations to remove competitors and then step in with state-backed companies.
In Kenya alone, Chinese firms have already built the Standard Gauge Railway and Nairobi Expressway often through opaque deals and heavy debt.
The JKIA project is the latest example of this pattern.
The result is now visible to everyone.
Congress has once again proven that they are not just a political party they have become part of the anti-India lobby that works against national interest whenever it suits them. Their actions in the Kenya case are not isolated.
They are part of a larger, dangerous pattern of aligning with China at India’s cost.
China didn’t just win an airport contract in Kenya. They exposed how easily Indian interests can be sacrificed when forces inside India choose to work against their own country.
Congress has made it clear when it comes to India versus China, they stand with China.
This is no longer just politics.
This is anti-India behaviour, and it stands exposed.
