When Audrey Hepburn was making her film "Green Mansions", the animal trainer recommended Audrey take home the baby deer so it would learn to follow her on set during the movie (and as needed for her role). Audrey fell in love and napped, shopped, and ate with the doe she named "Pippin" (1958)

Had to say goodbye to my lovely dog today. He was full of years (nearly 16 ) and suddenly developed a severe eye ulcer. Operation at his age not an option. He had been such a comfort since I lost my husband 29 months ago and it hurts like stink. Gratitude and tears

He lies there listening to me playing the cello…a tail thump now and again or a twitch of his paws. Treasuring these days as he will soon be 15 yrs and 10 months- he has lasted well

I find it hard to understand why so many countries - not just the UK - ignore children’s music education. There are so many benefits, academic as well as social/creative - it can help so much with numeracy and literacy. And the emotional aspect! A singing child is a happy child.
