I don’t even recognize Ellis Island anymore! If you haven’t been to Vegas in a year or 2, you are in for a shock during your next visit. The days of Ellis Island playing the role of the neighborhood dive bar are over, and now dare I say it, Ellis Island is actually pretty luxurious. Since my last visit, Ellis Island has; added carpet, added additional light on the casino floor, & opened a remarkable sports bar and slots area with outfacing windows. The best part is that the atmosphere on the casino floor hasn’t changed other than a nicer aesthetic. Everyone’s still having a great time and the casino is full of energy. The only bad part is that $5 Blackjack is out. Table limits this afternoon include $5 Heads Up Hold’em & 10x RtW CR, $10 csm 3:2 BJ, 00 RL, & 10x CR, and $15 6D 3:2 BJ. I wonder if the hotel is next to be renovated!

Really enjoyed this place last time we were there. Mark was our favorite bartender too…#wtf

I have said that it is hard to find good pizza on the Strip and that the best pizza options are downtown.
