We love using the tires we picked up on the curb from Fargo ND's "clean-up week". We had students play the version where one turn consists of 3 bean bag tosses. If it lands on the ledge=1 pt or inside the tire=3 pts.

🐝BASKETBALL SPELLING BEE🏀
Used spelling words from each class. We projected a word and Ss got 3 tries to earn 1 letter to build the word. Teams sit down behind cone when word was finished.

🏈QUARTERBACK CHALLENGE🏈
Ss take turns being QB and reciever. Each row of hoops are worth diff amounts of $. Ss earn $ when a throw is caught with BOTH feet inside hoop. We were able to modify and play this game with K-5. #physed #elempe #physicaleducation #PE @Strube_PE

Visitors (Ss) come to see the 4 different kinds of dinosaurs but they escaped from their pods and are out on the prowel! Directions are in the comments!! Best game ever!!

Hitters try to touch cone and come back to tee before outfielders return ball back to tee. Nice to limit amount of bats being used with 50 kids.

Ss try to underhand or overhand hit birdies to land on opposing teams nets. Teams are not allowed to take birdies off their nets. The team with the least amount of birdies on the net after the 5 min timer wins that round! #PhysEd #elempe @Strube_PE

First day with hockey sticks for our kindies! Class works together to see how long it takes to knock down all the pins. Ss can change lines. We used foam frisbees as the object to strike. Lines went fast so lots of reps! #PhysEd #elempe @Strube_PE #striking #hockeysticks

🦌REINDEER STABLES🦌 Kindergarteners use paddles to clean up reindeer "poo" to help Santa! They pick up 1 piece at a time and bring to their group garbage can, collecting as many as they can until the stables are all clean! #physed #elempe #kinderPE @Strube_PE
