This is one one those days i hate my brain. Why can't I just decide a thing? All the time waisted on not deciding would have given me plenty of time to do the thing. #adhd #adhdproblems #adhdbrain #adhdparalises

I picture my ADHD as a twisted entity that somehow prevents that my stupidities burn down my house, but also prevents me from ever being on time by making something unexpected and inconvenient happen right when i want to leave the house. #ADHD #adhdtwitter

Result of cleaning out one (!) closet. Yet, somehow I can NEVER find a charger. ADHD-smurfs keep hiding 'em, forcing me to keep buying 'em. #ADHD #ADHDAwarenessMonth #Neurodiversity #adhdproblems

FUCK ME! Again?!? The amount of times i did NOT burn down the house (while accidentally leaving curling irons/toasters/gas cooker/etc on for HOURS) is unbelievable. Do all ADHDers have these wicked awesome guardian angels? Or is this just me🤔. #ADHD #askadhd #adhdtwitter

It used to be a fluffy white bread roll... I magically turned it into a brick. #adhdmagic

So. Honest question. I'm a little confused. Whats your opinion on the difference between stimming and fidgeting? And what triggers this behaviour for you and what does it look like? #askadhd #AskingAutistics #askasd #askingadhd

1. I flap my hand real hard, 3-5 times, to get a tingly painful sensation that distracts me/ helps me focus or refocus. (Stim?) 2. I play with my hair, scratch off things, build stuff from tiny objects, move my toes up and down etc.. to stay focused when someone talks. (Fidget?)

i would do absolutely anything for my friends except answer their text messages

I'm legitimately confused. Who IS we? Who are these people? Can this passage be used as evidence that all my close friends are on some spectrum of #neurodiversity 😂

I totally feel out of control at the moment. And i do blame my ADHD for that. I also feel ADHD ruins everything for me. But i know that I'm the only one that can get that sense of control back. And by framing myself as a powerless victim of evil ADHD that surely won't happen.😬

Seriously, i get so frustrated over how much time and energy i need to waste on searching for stuff. How often are you forced to spend time on finding stuff you mindlessly misplaced? #askadhd #adahdtax #ADHD
18% a few times a week
52% a few times a day
29% basically every hour
1% hardly ever

57% of #neurodiverse folks reported hypermobility or EDS. While it's only 10-25% of the whole population. This highly fascinates me 🤓 so i digged into science and found that #ADHD / #ASD are INDEED associated with HSD/EDS This makes so much sense! It's not just our brains!✨

Any other ADHDers that endlessly postponed to get diagnosed? For me it was procrastination fulled by imposter syndrome and RSD. I was terrified to be exposed as an imposter that just convinced themselves of ADHD symptoms to have an excuse for being a failed human being. #askadhd

Double? I'm usually awake for approximately 15 hours a day. I'd say i have 20-50 thoughts per minute. But let's take 25 as an estimate. That brings the total to 22500 thoughts per day. On a good day, that is. 45000 on a bad day. No wonder I'm always tired #ADHD #Neurodiversity
The average person has around 6000 thoughts a day, it’s gotta be double that for ADHDers

"Emotional hypocrite" Yes!! I often feel like a huge hypocrite and imposter when I'm experiencing other emotions than my analysis concluded I should feel. Now I wonder if overanalysing feelings and then judging yourself for feeling the wrong thing, is ADHD related. #askadhd

Accepting that ratio and feelings are two separate things is one of my biggest struggles in life. It's like i have no stop button. Like if i just analyse enough, feelings will start to make sense. But they don't. They will never fully make sense and that frustrates me deeply.

Like, why would you feel hurt when you know someone genuinely didn't mean to hurt you. It doesn't make sense?!? There is no logical use to feel hurt. So why feel hurt? Or why feel nervous when you are very well prepared? There is no use?!? Ugh. Fuck feelings🤣.
