Landslide...is easy! Such a great tune for learning to fingerpick. The guitar tabs are nuts because Lindsey does a million variations, but it's just two easy chord progressions. I just posted a 6 minute lesson with zero tabs that shows the whole tune. Happy Sunday! youtu.be/9KJftYXTcGQ
"If the sun refused to shine, I would be still be loving you. If mountains crumbled to the sea, there would still be you and me."
Now that I made $1 trillion on the SpaceX IPO, I can just dedicate my life to playing Zeppelin tunes.
I think I mentioned this tune before, but have you seen the video of Steve Winwood playing this by the fireside? One of Youtube's best videos. Everyone thinks this tune is crazy hard but there's a secret to it. It's really easy and fun. It's on my channel if you want to pick it up.

The clips of Anika Nilles playing with Rush are so amazing. She sounds just like him! Check out this guitar intro to Freewill. The meter changes in this tune are insane!
Harvest Moon is a song I think every guitarist should know. It's so gentle and sweet. Here's the main riff.
Whole tune is on my channel:

My first day of summer break! Teaching is a rough gig but can't complain about the schedule. Here's a little Pink Floyd guitar that's super easy to play. Enjoy!
Here's the guitar intro to Sister Golden Hair. I just posted a deep dive into Ventura Highway if you want to learn a great tune on this quiet Sunday!

I remember the chorus of Don't Look Back by Boston gave me huge chills when I first heard it. It's such a soaring guitar melody. Tom Scholz was an MIT engineer/rock star!
Another tune that influenced Clapton and the other British invasion guitarists who really invented rock. Before them, American rock was really just 12-bar blues played really fast and loud (Chuck Berry, Elvis.) Those Brits invented what we love as rock!
Freddie King-Hideaway!
Emerson Lake and Palmer had some iconic guitar parts in addition to their signature keyboards. This intro always fakes you out because it starts the same as Roundabout by Yes!
May I do one non-guitar post? My dad took this from his balcony. This is what sunsets look like in El Paso. The sun just explodes below the horizon and the whole desert sky glows. Love my city.
If you've never played Wildwood Flower, you're missing out on such a fun and easy tune! I've taught this to thousands of people in my 30 years of teaching and it's always a favorite.
I just posted a step by step on my Youtube if you're interested.

My last week of school coming up! This year wrecked me. Teaching high school is not for the faint of heart these days.🤪
Here's the guitar solo of Ramblin' Man to get your Sunday moving!
