With what appears to have been an assist from Farage and Sunak, the GB News owners hedge fund has reportedly cashed by in betting against NatWest. This requires an urgent investigation so we can find out what has happened.
So do reports of Truss and Kwarteng reportedly having lunch with hedgefunders that short the pound prior to the mini budget. Then after, at a widely reported champagne lunch, where Kwarteng was said to have been advised to double down on their horrifying budget, which further screwed the markets and left millions of Britons facing huge mortgage increases and risk of homelessness.
It’s almost as if the book Jacob Rees Moggs dad wrote is being used as a manual. This is generally how "Sovereign Individuals" operate.
One of Jacob Rees Mogg’s donors is Crispin Odey, ex husband of Murdochs daughter and the man that made millions in the aftermath of Brexit, after donating vast sums to leave groups, he has benefitted from a lot of crashes. He’s also linked to the fossil fuel big wigs, Mogg is vocally pro fracking and was very pro Brexit, but I’m sure that’s just a big coincidence…
Disaster capitalism, shorting the pound, betting against your own country - the antithesis of patriotism. Yet they all claim to be the poster boys for patriotism? Real patriots look around now and feel little but shame for what their nation has become.
That’s how it all generally works though, between the government and powerful people. It’s all high stakes gambling and bank robbing arranged in Prada at the Carlton by the elite, fuck ups orchestrated, billionaires get richer, send it all offshore - then we are left to pay for it, a society in ruins that’s told to accept low pay as food prices and energy bills soar, that face hate crimes as their red meat/ culture war rhetoric impacts our communities, that’s taxed higher as our public services fall to ruins due to government cuts.
Meanwhile, MPs cash in, their pay increases, their expenses increase and their mates divvy out shares then take the money and run, or buy yachts and sail away.
They’re like a posh mafia and we are all being conned on an industrial scale.
