Where I come from we say sir & ma'am, drink our tea sweet & love Elvis. We also read Harry Crews, listen to REM & believe in getting in good trouble like John Lewis. This is my South

@StuckeyStop I have another one for you - this diner in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey (now a different restaurant, same building) used to be a Stuckey's! thedeletedscenes.com/p/stuck…

@StuckeyStop My memory is as clear as a South, Florida sunny summer day. My brothers and I loved those burgers.

Happy birthday to my favorite architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Remembering that time my Zillow browsing got a little out of hand, and I wandered onto one of his homes for sale in Tulsa. Breaking and entering or architectural tourism? You decide. #zillowgonewild

On June 7, 1982, Graceland officially opened its doors to the public. Today, 44 years later, Elvis' home continues to welcome fans from around the world who come to experience his legacy, his music, and the place he loved most. Happy 44th Anniversary, Graceland ❤️

Elvis has left the building. But the Jungle Room lives on. On June 7, 1982, Graceland opened its doors to the public, attracting millions of visitors, including the members of Spinal Tap 😆

82 years ago today, nearly 160,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, launching the liberation of Europe. We are free because they were brave. 🇺🇸

My grandfather was part of the Normandy invasion in June 1944. On this D-Day anniversary, I remember the service & sacrifice of the Greatest Generation. May we never forget. #DDay #NeverForget #GreatestGeneration

This has to be one of the wackiest building conversions I've ever seen: this hotel's oversized lobby is an old standalone Stuckey's convenience store!

The was legendary, but those crinkle-cut fries deserved their own fan club. Thanks for remembering!
People seem to only remember Stuckey's for their delicious Pecan rolls and other great sweets. However, they are blowing over the fact that Stuckey's had a tremendous stacker burger & my favorite crinkle cut fries and delicious shakes. We used to stop there on vacations as a kid.

Found the kind of small town diner that looked at a hotdog and said, “Yep, that’s a sandwich.”
