CREATIVE PROCESSES
Our graphics team have been working with illustrator Juan Esteban Rodríguez to capture a cheviot icon as part of the graphics package for the Ad Gefrin visitor experience. Ad Gefrin means 'by the hill of the goats' 1/2
2/2 The illustration Juan has created references this historical name. The process begins with an outline sketch & progresses to the more detailed image with definitive tones & structure,
creating a vibrant depiction of the local livestock on the Northumbrian hills.
THE NEW MUSEUM DEFINITION
After 50 years @IcomOfficiel have approved a new museum definition recognising the importance of inclusivity, participation & sustainability & the changing role of museums…a timely change.
