If you call this "Duct Tape", you have been saying this wrong. It started as duck tape in WWII. Made from duck cloth. Built to seal ammo boxes. It only became duct tape after people used it on metal ductwork. But, It is terrible for ducts. Many codes ban it Surprised? I know

Plywood is stable. The edges are not. Iron-on banding works, but it chips and peels over time. Try this instead: • Cut a centered V-groove in the plywood edge • Mill matching solid hardwood banding • Glue, clamp, trim flush Stronger. Cleaner. Longer lasting.

Wax on a workbench looks nice. It also makes boards slide. A bench is a work-holding tool, not furniture. Light oil > wax or heavy film finishes. Grip matters more than shine. More details at the link in my BIO

This shouldn't be possible. Perfectly spaced, razor-thin kerfs turning straight grain hardwood into a wooden spring. Too fine for a table saw. Too hard by hand. But what if a Japanese pull saw had machine-level precision? Just imagine what else might be possible...
