It is not easy to build a house in #Chin State, but y'day many houses, including churches have been burnt down to the ground in the heavy fire that set by the Terrorists in #Thantalang tsp. As of this morning, some houses are still on fire. We need HELP.

Concerning reports from Chin State in #Myanmar of the burning of homes and churches in Thantlang. We are closely monitoring developments in the State and discussing with partners, including at the UNSC. The military must end the violence and ensure the protection of civilians.

Over one hundred houses, one fourth of the town, have burned down including Thantlang’s largest Baptist Church according to CHRO.
“This is also the hub of the town where most shops and businesses are located,” said Salai Za Uk Ling from CHRO.

There is a very young child in Insein Prison.His father joined CDM who is runway because of military are arrested without Law . He left his son and his wife at home. Military are arrested his wife and his son. This baby is coming soon Next December will be three years.

The fire in Thantlang continues to burn on 30th October. Nearly 200 houses and 2 churches were destroyed.
This is not “collateral damage” of a war. This is intentional destruction of civilians’ property and constitutes more war crimes being committed by SAC. Enough is enough!!!
