The problem with the North is multifaceted and the elite need to do more. The most disturbing one is their so called "influencer" and "celebrities" not getting their priority straight. Look at the way southern SM influencers use their platforms to make noise on Oyo Sch Kidnap

Stop defending failure and ineptitude of President Bola Tinubu. On matters of security, the bulk stop at the President table. Like in other countries, Tinubu is the chief security officer.

Buhari did not disappoint! When Buhari took over in 2015 , Boko Haram terrorist with its stronghold in NE but already have cells in NC bombed Police Headquarters in Abuja, attacked UN building in Abuja, markets suicidal bombing rampant and in the SW some cells were discovered as well. The panic was felt across the country. During his 8 years in power there were some metamorphosis in the structure and pattern of the insecurities. I don't want to do the details here. But, Buhari achieved some undeniable landmark achievements. 1) Terrorists were pushed out of cities to NE then majorly in Sambisa forest and degraded. 2) Suicidal bombing were halted. 3) Military power to fight insurgents improved 4) Nigeria terrorist index reduced drastically.
Thats not true. The north insecurity didn't start yesterday. One of the decisive action of the north in trying to cub insecurity is the overwhelming vote given to PMB against GEJ solely to avert the recurrent insecurity problem. Buhari was expected to be a messiah to the north in solving security problems but he was not successful. The dimension changed from NE to NW and overtime, because of the consistent occurence of it, the North become docile as compared to early beginning time of BH. So yeah, protest, proactiveness, shout, whatever it is has been tried until many solution proved abortive. The way the south acted in Oyo incident is the same way the north reacted to its early insecurity challenges. This is not the time to do hindsight analysis, let's hope the issue is resolved once and for all.

The APC, President Tinubu and those who work with him suffer what in economics we call the "illusion of money"... By the devaluation of the naira to the dollar, it gives you an illusion as if additional money is coming in, but that money has no purchasing power,' says SDP's Adebayo. I sympathise with Mr Morka [APC spokesman], and I understand now that if this is the framework of their own analysis, even 50 years is not enough to get it right, he added #SundayPolitics

In 2021, as chairman Senate committee on works, Senator Kabiru Gaya advised president Buhari to solely award the Kano-Kaduna-Abuja road to Julius Berger construction company. His insistence was out of wisdom, that JB is known for high standards and will build a road that can last 50 years. God bless Kabiru Gaya for that, now that Infiouest Nigeria LTD has completed the 39kms abandoned by JB, we know the difference. The Zaria-Kano portion of the road constructed by Infiouest has already started twisting, collapsing and even having small craters within three months after completion. The road will not last one year from all indication. Presently from Makarfi to Kwanan Dangora, thr road needs urgent maintenance. If in doubt please take a trip to the road. The road also has a very huge crater immediately after Kwanar Dawaki before 7up. That road is not more than 30 days old. This is truly sad and I feel pained. This unknown company Infiouest was mentioned by Senator Adams Oshimhole as a furniture company. It is like the owners made the name in a manner that no one can even pronounce it. This makes Nigerian corruption quite different from the rest of the world. While in a place like Indonesia, politicians will inflate contract, but execute the job to the highest possible standards, Nigerian politicians will virtually steal 90% of the money and build something that will not last more than one year. A road that will not last one year is as good as useless. From Aliyu Nuhu

Thank you @EkeneAninze for this.... This is more reason why our elders says.... when you dig a hole for your enemy, don't dig it too deep cos you can be a victim.
I have said it before. You can be very smart, but you cannot be just too smart to be able to outsmart and fool everyone at the same time. When the National Assembly amended the Electoral Act and inserted Section 77 of the Act, they did so with the intention that the Act would help them checkmate overly ambitious politicians from defecting to other political parties to chase their ambitions, even when injustice had been meted out to them by unnecessarily manipulating them out of the primary election of their political party. Immediately the Act was passed, INEC, as usual, did not disappoint. INEC quickly backed the National Assembly by issuing guidelines which stated that every political party must first give INEC a 21-day notice before conducting its primaries. But it did not stop there. Political parties were further mandated to submit a digital register of their members before they could conduct any primary election. Failure to do so within the stipulated time, which INEC fixed as 10th of May, or the omission of any party member from the submitted register, would automatically render the primary election of that party null and void. At that point, INEC and the National Assembly believed they had perfected everything. They thought they had successfully cornered and estopped aggrieved politicians, especially those affected by the recent APC primary elections, from defecting to another political party. But unknown to them, a political party known as "Youth Party" had quietly dragged INEC before Justice Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja. Their argument was simple but explosive. They argued that although the Electoral Act gave INEC the power to receive notifications from political parties before conducting conventions and primary elections, that power, however, was only meant to enable INEC monitor the activities of political parties and nothing more. The Youth Party further argued that upon a detailed consideration of Sections 29, 31, 32, 82, 84(1) and 98 of the Electoral Act, INEC had no power whatsoever to go outside the provisions of the law and begin issuing guidelines that dictate when politicians can defect into another political party, when parties can conduct their primaries, when they must submit the names of their members, or even when campaigns must stop. According to them, those sections of the Electoral Act had already clearly stipulated the timelines for submission of candidates’ names and the period for political campaigns. Therefore, INEC could not arrogate to itself powers beyond what the law expressly provided by issuing guidelines that practically controlled and strangled political parties. They then asked Justice Umar to declare all the guidelines earlier issued by INEC null and void for being undemocratic and completely against the spirit and intention of the Electoral Act. Justice Umar did not even waste time before aligning himself with the arguments of the Youth Party. In a judgment that has now sent shockwaves across the political space, he struck down all the guidelines issued by INEC and declared them null and void. Now, the implications of that judgment are massive. First, the transfer window across political parties has effectively reopened for politicians who may wish to dump their parties and move elsewhere. Secondly, no political party is under any immediate pressure or compulsion to submit the names or particulars of its candidates to INEC until 120 days before the election. Thirdly, political parties can still substitute the names of their candidates before 90 days to the election, and INEC will be legally bound to accept such substitutions. As it stands today, every wise politician who has been disqualified is expected to immediately take advantage of this judgment while INEC is yet to appeal it. And trust me, INEC will most certainly appeal. I am Ekene Aninze Esq.

VIDEO: Listen to this video. From the very beginning of this regime, i have said the cabinet is the most useless, most inept, most corrupt in our recent history, and the Attorney General is on top. The Electoral Act was a fraud, and he supervised that fraud. He couldn't advise the president on the right thing to do. Or maybe they were in agreement since they were so much in a hurry in trying to stop every other party from contesting the elections. But it has now backfired. The opposition must do more. The @ADCNig should be at the forefront in fighting things like these. In my opinion, they didn't do enough to tackle the regime over the Electoral Act. I hope they do better going forward. That decamping they were trying to because of it manipulate everything in their favor will now happen. I hope @SimFubaraKSC is watching? #unmutedthepodcast #tegatalks

Dear Reno Omokri, Even though you blocked me because you don’t have the balls to argue with facts, and because I exposed you as a morally flexible human being, a core hypocrite with zero conviction, zero sense of duty, loyal only to your stomach, and a liar by profession, it still won’t stop me from coming for you and setting the record straight whenever your lies cross the path of somebody I deeply care about, in the person of Nasir El-Rufai. Today, once again, you have proved every point I made about you before you got scared and cowardly blocked me like a little boy who just removed his mouth from his mother’s breast. You wrote a long epistle making baseless accusations that only you can corroborate, unfortunately for you don’t the credibility to influence public anymore without any evidence. You make accusations and refused to provide any proof to back up your claims, except to say your mail was hacked by Mallam Nasir El-Rufai because you supposedly had evidence against him. And as usual, you could not talk about Mallam without bringing up Dadiyata’s name. That reminded me of the last time I held you by the balls on this same issue when you were pretending to care about Dadiyata, until you had no response left and had to block me on Twitter because you couldn’t come back from it. In that write up, I said, and I quote: “My concern is not whether you advocate for him or not, we all know you have, to chase clout of course. But out of those six years, the only time you remember him is when you want to talk about Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. That’s what he is to you, a talking point to get back at a former BOSS whom you have now fallen out with. That’s the only thing he is to you.” - Imran (Feb 2026). I also love the fact that you attached the photo you attached, proudly showing the world that he was once your boss and mentor like I said. The same man who sacked you because you used his platform to make bigoted posts. Since then, you have behaved like a bitter ex who went around searching but couldn’t find a better pipe, so now she is angry, but that is by the way. Back to my point, as expected, you shamelessly could not speak about Mallam Nasir El-Rufai without mentioning Dadiyata. What makes your hypocrisy even crazier is that just last week somebody allegedly confessed to witnessing the murder of the same Dadiyata you claim to care so much about, yet we did not hear pim from you. But now that it is time to attack Mallam Nasir El-Rufai again, suddenly you remember Dadiyata and suddenly you care. Mr. Reno, everything in this world is vanity. Take it easy. There is life after death, and there is judgment. Retrace your steps if you do not want God to punish you. Thank you 🙏

Dear Prof. Pantami, @ProfIsaPantami Leadership is not only defined by occupying positions, but by standing firmly on principles, even when the path is difficult. Your decision to withdraw from the APC governorship primaries in protest against perceived irregularities reflects your commitment to justice, credibility, and due process. While many may focus only on political outcomes, true supporters understand that values and integrity must always come first. We stand with you, not merely because of a political ambition, but because of the ideals you represent and the hope you inspire in countless people across Gombe State and beyond. Be assured that your supporters remain steadfast and united with you, through moments of advancement and moments of restraint, through thick and thin. We trust your judgment, respect your decision, and remain confident that your journey in service to humanity and good governance is far from over. May Allah continue to guide, strengthen, and elevate you. With unwavering solidarity. Engr Yasir Arafat Jubril

This is pure balderdash. You clearly haven’t watched a single full match of José Mourinho at Roma, Fenerbahçe, Benfica, or Spurs, yet you’re here writing absolute rubbish about him. José has not failed in any of the jobs where he was eventually sacked. At Roma, he delivered the club’s first ever major European trophy by winning the UEFA Conference League. He then took them to the Europa League final the following season, where they were only denied by a controversial penalty shootout. That is not failure. That is history. At Fenerbahçe he finished second in his very first season. One season. Anyone who understands football knows what is happening in Turkey, especially in a league dominated by fierce corruption. At Benfica, he arrived after the season had already started, with the club struggling and almost eliminated from the Champions League group stage. Despite that, he beat Real Madrid CF and guided them into the knockout rounds. Again, that is not failure. At Spurs, he was sacked just days before a cup final. And we all know what happened next. Spurs did what Spurs do best: they lost the final. If anything, that decision only reinforced Mourinho’s value as a serial winner. People are too quick to judge based on headlines instead of actual football. Mourinho has consistently improved teams, won trophies, and restored belief wherever he has gone. This is the same rubbish you said about Antoine Semenyo when he signed for Manchester City, all based on some useless six-minute video. That tells me everything. You lot only know how to watch the so-called big teams and then pretend to be experts on managers and players you clearly do not follow. Watch the games. Study the context. Understand the circumstances. Then come and talk football. Until then, stop disrespecting one of the greatest managers the game has ever seen.
Modern football is cruel to coaches who refuse to evolve. The game changes every season, pressing structures, build up patterns, player freedom, intensity and dressing room management. Coaches who survive at the top are the ones who adapt without losing their identity. That’s why managers like Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti continue to win. Pep keeps reinventing systems, changing roles and finding new solutions even after dominating football for years. Ancelotti on the other hand adapted to modern stars by giving freedom while still maintaining balance and control. They evolve, and evolution keeps elite coaches alive. But with José Mourinho, the concern is different. Since leaving Manchester United, his journey hasn’t looked convincing enough for a coach once considered untouchable. The spells at Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma and Fenerbahçe SK have shown flashes, but not enough consistency to prove he has fully adapted to the modern game. A second spell at Real Madrid CF would be the perfect opportunity for Mourinho to prove he can evolve and still dominate at the highest level. But to succeed, he may need to abandon some of the old methods that worked a decade ago. Modern players are different. Managing talents like Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior is not simple. They can be difficult tactically because they demand freedom, but you also cannot just bench them because they are the players capable of deciding games. If Mourinho wants success, he must find solutions that maximize them instead of fighting against the reality of modern football. And Madrid fans should not get carried away too quickly. Reputation alone does not win football matches anymore. Mourinho would need time to learn, unlearn and rebuild himself tactically before competing consistently against coaches like Hansi Flick. If evolution doesn’t happen, the pressure at Madrid can turn quickly from excitement to another managerial collapse. ZLATAN ✍️

Another vedio of the Atrocities committed by Berom Christians terrorists yesterday evening: the killing of Muslim travelers continues. BEROM Christians terrorists continue to kill innocent Muslims Travellers on the Mangu road right in front of security agencies, yet nothing is being done to them. When exactly will the FG take action regarding the lives of Muslims being ended on these roads by those bl00dsuc1ng terrorists in Plateau State? What crime have Muslims committed in Jos to warrant their blood being spilled like this? How can they be killing Muslims and then be called upon to receive huge sums of money as compensation? When did the use of guns become legal within the community? They kill Muslims and there is silence as if it isn't being seen, but then they go to the media claiming that they are the ones being killed.

This says a lot about Yoruba hypocrisy.... Everything they accused Hausa/ Fulani of is exactly what they are doing now
We spent years in the South West shouting ourselves hoarse about “Fulani hegemony.” Now, in a twist of irony, we are busy constructing a Yoruba version of the same thing. Let’s be honest: this has absolutely nothing to do with Yoruba self determination. Nothing. In fact, the very actors now parading as defenders of “Yoruba interests” systematically dismantled genuine self-determination movements, groups that could challenge them on ideological grounds. In their place, they empowered loyalists and opportunists, people more interested in pleasing the political establishment than questioning why a region’s commonwealth is being funneled to a select few. The same playbook. A different cast. Those waving the banners of “Fulani” yesterday and “Yoruba” today are not fighting for their people. They are fighting for themselves, for power, access, and wealth. That’s the real agenda. Ethnicity is just the costume. The script is class self enrichment. What we are witnessing is not liberation. It is elite capture, dressed up as tribal solidarity, packaged as destiny, and sold to the masses. And once again, ordinary people are expected to clap. Guess what? There are no subsided market for the Yoruba, the rain is falling on everyone with or without tribal marks.

I understand the argument that the money supposedly saved from fuel subsidy was never truly sitting somewhere waiting to be used. We were borrowing to sustain subsidy, and now that subsidy is gone, So that particular borrowing pressure should have reduced. Fine, that makes economic sense. It also explains why previous governments borrowed heavily and yet Nigerians saw little on ground, perhaps a huge chunk of that money was disappearing into subsidy payments. But here is where I am confused, if we are no longer borrowing to pay subsidy, aren’t we supposed to visibly see the impact of the recent borrowings on ground, it’s already 3 years, what are we borrowing for? Since 2023, President Tinubu has secured legislative approval to borrow roughly $21 billion in fresh external loans, about €4 billion, and another ¥15 billion. This is aside from the claimed increased revenues government now enjoys from subsidy removal, naira devaluation, customs collections, and higher tax inflows. So again, where is the impact? We know about the new presidential jet. We know about the fleets of SUVs purchased for the Villa and Villa staff. We know about the Vice President’s residence and the endless comfort projects around government. But can anyone confidently point to one major road completed, one major rail line commissioned, one massive public hospital delivered, or one landmark people-centered project that has changed the life of the ordinary Nigerian? Or we should all continue to stand on the mandate and no question asked?

I saw an old friend in a video with Wike yesterday. I was surprised and wasn’t surprised. We started out hustling as fresh graduates from a small rented shop in Agege. Mine was a photocopying business, his was a budding electrical tech work and installations. My candid advice to young graduates of Archy, QS, civil, or electrical engineering: register a full-portfolio construction company immediately after university. Gain construction experience by working for individuals looking for cheap/direct labour, then move into subcontracting with mid-level construction firms to understand the requirements for govt projects. When you have all the paper requirements, start bidding for govt contracts; you wont win and you will know why in the future, but go after the winner and beg for subcontracts, even at a base rate. Build trust, build versatility. If you build a name before looking for connection, the connection will start looking for you. In ten years, by the time the big boyz start passing to you projects that's too small for them or projects they dont have time for, you will never forget me, and would never regret taking this advice.
