the specific source code artifacts are no longer the most important part. eventually we can and should regularly throw away all code and regenerate it from scratch whenever the requirements and ideal state vision change. But also, as of early 2026, that is still only partly real

not yet wise to actually regen all code from scratch for each build. So weβre in a weird in-between situation where sometimes we need to patch-in-place and other times we need to toss-and-replace. And itβs currently very difficult to know when each option is best
