When you lift a train over your head, normal people don't think you're strong; they think the train is made of cardboard and you are trying to trick them.

the specific source code artifacts are no longer the most important part. eventually we can and should regularly throw away all code and regenerate it from scratch whenever the requirements and ideal state vision change. But also, as of early 2026, that is still only partly real

not yet wise to actually regen all code from scratch for each build. So we’re in a weird in-between situation where sometimes we need to patch-in-place and other times we need to toss-and-replace. And it’s currently very difficult to know when each option is best

but I'm making progress seem like OSS is the best model abstraction through extraction crystalize generic patterns and move them to product infra move towards smaller and tighter unique product code patch-in-place infra toss-and-replace product code

the future of task management software is dynamically generated work orders defined by evergreen gaps auto-generated reactively when reality or target state shift you'll open up the app in the morning and get exactly enough work to handle today and no more. when done, go home
