Maple roasted parsnips ❤️ Can't beat a good roast parsnip! Our tip is to add the maple syrup (or honey if you prefer) five minutes before the end of cooking, it gives a lovely sticky sweetness without burning off in the pan. #roastparsnips #parsnips #britishfarming

3/3 We also plant parsnips in winter, to harvest early in the season (our summer crop) ensuring a British crop in supermarkets, greengrocers and restaurants all year. This joins one year's production to the other and avoids importing from Spain. #britishparsnips #parsnips

2/3 This month, we are harvesting winter "frost cover" #parsnips. This means we can supply throughout winter, covering for growers in Northern England or Scotland whose parsnips can literally be frozen into the ground. Our coastal breeze and southern location keeps us going 👍
