Bitcoin Adoption Update 🇺🇸 The full text of H.R. 8957, the American Reserve Modernization Act of 2026, is now public. The bill would establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, introduce quarterly public proof-of-reserve reporting, require independent audits, and restrict sales of reserve BTC for 20 years. 🇺🇸 @Strategy bought an additional 1,550 BTC for roughly $101.3M, increasing its total holdings to 845,256 BTC. The company also raised its USD Reserve to $1B, reinforcing the capital structure around its Bitcoin treasury and preferred stock obligations. 🇯🇵 @Metaplanet allocated $5.41M from surplus capital to pay dividends on MERCURY, its perpetual preferred stock. Its Bitcoin Income Business is now being used to support preferred-share dividend payments, showing how Bitcoin treasury companies are building full capital stacks around BTC. 🇺🇸 @Strive acquired an additional 32 BTC for roughly $2.1M, bringing total holdings to 19,032 BTC. It ranks #7 on the Bitcoin 100 list. 🇧🇷 @ORANJEBTC acquired an additional 41 BTC, increasing its treasury to 3,803 BTC. The company also repurchased 3M shares, increasing Bitcoin exposure per share through both accumulation and buybacks. 🇯🇵 SBI @shinseibank_jp will run a three-month pilot allowing deposit customers to receive crypto exchange vouchers worth 20% of their term-deposit interest. The vouchers can be redeemed for BTC, ETH, or XRP through SBI VC Trade, connecting traditional bank deposits with crypto exposure. 🟠 Bernstein said Bitcoin has attracted roughly $12B in combined inflows from ETFs and corporate treasury companies this year. ETF flows have weakened, but corporate treasury accumulation continues to be a major source of institutional Bitcoin demand.
