The mere existence of the Second Amendment tells government that our gun rights (our self-defense rights) are NOT to be trifled with. The Amendment handcuffs the government, not the people. It tells them that our rights are NOT under government purview.

Can’t thank @smokeWagonCera enough for the amazing job. My wife and son surprised me with this 250th USA themed .300 blackout. Suppressor is smoked and after it gets hot is scream USA! Check out the patriotic themed video they put together. Gotta name the gun now. Who has some name suggestions?
This is a promotion of the coating only! We have been sitting in this one for a bit. It was suppose to be a Fathers Day surprise. 😅 We got the call from the “Dad” earlier today Saying he loved it! Excellent wife and son you have sir! His 14 year old son designed the whole thing. #cerakote #cerakotecertified #NotForSale #RedWhiteAndBlue #america #250th #WeThePeople

Great article @BearingArmsCom This isn't about "safe gun storage" at all—it's about the government mandating specific rules so that if you don't secure your guns exactly the way they demand (when they demand it), they can take them away or throw you in prison for it. James Talarico's push for these "common sense" laws (as highlighted in the Bearing Arms piece) is classic gun-control theater: it sounds reasonable on the surface, but it creates a web of compliance burdens, enforcement traps, and criminal penalties that turn responsible owners into potential felons for something as basic as keeping a loaded firearm accessible for self-defense at night. It's also a deliberate deterrent for future gun owners. If someone is on the fence about buying a gun for home protection, the added hassle of "Did I lock it up the right way? Will the state approve my method? What if I get it wrong?" is exactly the kind of friction that makes people say "never mind." Voluntary safety advice is one thing. Government mandates that treat law-abiding citizens like children who can't be trusted with their own property? That's just control dressed up as concern. The Second Amendment doesn't come with an asterisk that says "except when the state decides your storage doesn't meet our standards.

For the non lawyers. Big win for common sense in the 5th Circuit today. The court just refused to give the government a do-over on a case striking down the federal ban on making your own booze at home (no distillery license, no tax stamp, etc.). They ruled that Congress can’t use its “taxing power” or the “necessary and proper” clause to flat-out prohibit something people have a right to do. The full court said: “We’re good with the original ruling.” Why should gun owners care? The National Firearms Act (the law that slaps insane “taxes” and restrictions on short-barreled rifles, suppressors, machine guns, etc.) uses exactly the same legal tricks. This decision is a blueprint for challenging the NFA in court.
Update: The Fifth Circuit has denied the government's en banc petition in this case.

For all the non-lawyers out there: In California, it can take over a year to get a permit to carry a concealed gun. New state data shows Black and Latino applicants are waiting even longer than others. California is considering a bill (AB 1948) to make concealed carry permits last 3 years instead of the current 2 years. The latest official analysis shows: Police groups support it and no one is opposing it. This change would help cut down the massive backlogs by reducing how often people have to renew.
The latest analysis for the 3-year California CCW bill shows support from police groups and no listed opposition while saying "reports suggest that wait times and administrative hurdles have been greater particularly for Black and Latino Californians": leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/f…

Simple English breakdown for the non-lawyers: A third-grader wanted to wear her “Come and Take It” hat (with a picture of an AR-15) on school “hat day.” The public school said nope — banned any 2A-related hats. FPC sued, arguing it’s protected free speech. Lower courts sided with the school. FPC took it all the way to the Supreme Court. Today the Supreme Court said “nah” and refused to hear the case. Translation: The school’s ban on pro-2A hats stays in place. Kids in that district still can’t wear them.
FPC LEGAL UPDATE: The Supreme Court has denied the cert petition in an FPC-backed challenge to a public school ban on 2A-related hats. You can read more about the case here: firearmspolicy.org/mccrumb

Simple English breakdown for the non-lawyers: The Supreme Court just told the feds “nah” and refused to review a case where a guy whose only felony was failing to pay child support got his gun rights back. Translation: The 5th Circuit said the lifetime gun ban doesn’t apply to him under the 2nd Amendment — and SCOTUS let that decision stand. Sometimes the right answer really is this simple: Guy who paid his debt to society? He gets to exercise his constitutional rights.
The cert petition filed by the federal government in a case where the Fifth Circuit ruled that the felon gun ban is unconstitutional as applied to the defendant whose "sole predicate offense... is his failure to pay child support" has been denied. supremecourt.gov/docket/dock…

Happy Monday everyone! Can’t wait to see what @TheRascallion, @SummRidge and @harveyspistols have in store for us this week

ALT Finding Nemo Today GIF

Rascal’s been on the road, and this week he’s found a patriot who knows exactly what kind of American she is. Last week we asked, “What kind of American are you?” This week, Harvey’s Famous Weekly Giveaway proudly spotlights @Lily4Liberty . She survived Mao’s Cultural Revolution in communist China and now travels America warning about the dangers of communism and tyranny while championing our God‑given freedoms. Now she is running in the Live Free Or Die state to represent these liberties and the traditional American heritage in congress! Given Lily's experience with communism and tyrannical governments, she’s vowed never again to live under a government that fears armed citizens more than criminals, and she has built her campaign around an unapologetic defense of the right to keep and bear arms. She supports national constitutional carry and rolling back federal gun-control laws that target law‑abiding gun owners. Rascal was inspired and decided on a liberty & New Hampshire themed giveaway. He wants to arm YET ANOTHER freedom loving and freedom defending American while also bringing attention to the campaign of the fellow freedom lover. So this weeks firearm is a New Hampshire made Sig Sauer Tread Coil V2 rifle with optic in 5.56! We celebrate the kind of American who knows that “Live Free or Die” isn’t a mere slogan, it’s a warning for would‑be tyrants, foreign or domestic. Thank you AGAIN for the support of @SummRidge who helps make these giveaways possible. TO ENTER please FOLLOW us and @SummRidge , REPOST or QUOTE POST, and REPLY to this post. PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING TO LILY'S CAMPAIGN. She is true defender of the 2nd amendment and her campaign is very grassroots. See link below. GOOD LUCK & GODSPEED!

Ok ladies and gentlemen — it’s summer. Concealed carry just got harder with shorts and t-shirts. Never used one before, but with all the upcoming celebrations and events, I’m thinking about an EDC fanny pack. Are you on team "edc fanny pack" or on you team "hell no to the fanny pack? If you're on team "edc fanny pack" what one do you recommend.

Eighty-two years ago today, freedom stood on the edge of extinction, and Allied forces stormed into hell to help save the world. We will never forget the courage, the sacrifice, and the blood spilled on that fateful day.

CALLING ALL 18-19-YEAR-OLD ADULTS IN PA: If you live in PA and want to apply for a PA license to carry a firearm for self-defense but can’t due to the state’s age-based restrictions, YOU could be a key participant in an FPC Lawsuit.
