Year #21 closing day is in the books! I used Canva to make bookmarks for each 5th grader๐ฅนand made some fun roundup videos to get ALL books returned! ๐ Ended the day planning for next year with our @KyLibraries board.๐It was a great year in the library! Now bring on summer! โ๏ธ

๐ถ The Summit Elementary 4th and 5th grade Friday music ensembles performed at the Boyd County Music in Our Schools Month concert yesterday evening @ BCHS. They performed a folk dance and a Super Mario Remix with bucket drums. They did a fantastic job!! ๐ฅ

Todayโs Storybook STEAM activity was so fun! The kids learned about Newtonโs 3 laws of motion, potential energy, kinetic energy, acceleration, and friction after engineering their ramps and cars.

We read books today. Fifth grade read 339 books in the dark and it was so much FUN! I live for the days where we stop everything and just read because we can. This is it right here. ๐
Today @SummitWildcats Elementary celebrated Read Across America with a school-wide Read-a-thon. Students were partner reading, flashlight reading, reading online, and enjoying books read aloud. Our students read an incredible 2,222 books today! Woohoo!๐๐ผ ๐ฅณ๐๐๐๐ซถ๐ผ
